  1. alternate title: be a self employed programed.

  2. to be fair you need to learn scales in a piano before you can effectively play a song on it

  3. Give it up for Mia and st.jude

  4. I actually hated how the Python Foundation and most of the community gave Python 2 users the middle finger. There are still things that have Python 2 built into it. Due to how they change some vital parts of Python 2 when making Python 3, it is not simple to update the scripting. Sure, changing every instance of xrange to range is simple; however, they changed certain fundamental functionalities of strings. There is a module that can help convert this; however, even the notes and comments for it state that it is not guaranteed to work.

In addition, if you are on a work computer, do you know how to install new modules to Python 2? You can use the dumb pip thing, which randomly doesn't work, especially if you don't have the latest version, or by running and installation file that more or less copies the new modules and necessary files into the Python directory which is extremely easy to do. Now with Python? You MUST use pip to install modules. Yes, having to use vague terminal based commands is much more intuitive than clicking a couple prompts. In addition, pip requires administrative permissions.

  5. I want to code so programming I won’t do unless there both the same cause I am making a fnf mod so idk

  6. video produced in 2019, we're getting close to 2022, and we still learn to program because we can't learn to solve problem without learning to program first ^^

  7. Lovely. I was doing Python on coursera. And hey aak those very questions. But now you made me aware of something. Thank you

  8. I want to learn Animate frame by frame and Digital Art

  9. I just watched a Python ad for beginners

  10. Yes, I see. Nintendo are problem solvers who have made billions of dollars from their problem solving techniques.

  11. “don’t program in 2021”
    posted two years ago
me just seeing it now in 2021
    …yea i’m freaked out

  12. hi! you posted this video in 2019 "dont' learn to program in 2021" why 2021:) i am watching it now in 2021 🙂 🙂

  13. he must of accidentally cleared the prod db, got fired, and made this video

  14. What if you are a gifted programmer, have many projects…just…all of them are unfinished because you prefer to lie in bed, staring at the ceiling while contemplating why you were even born in the first place?

  15. Ha I didn’t listen and learnt 5 coding language

  16. I was about to say you are wrong but yeah it’s problem solving that’s true.

  17. Me: "Reads title"

    also Me: "Ok Boomer"

  18. Giles: * mentions Github *
    Me: What's Github?
    Giles: * mentions repository and open-source *
    Me: 🤯🤯🤯

  19. Want to learn Data Science. Try Data Quest – https://bit.ly/3hcLjbY I think they're excellent. This is an affiliate link (obviously, it's YouTube!), but there's a 30 day money back guarantee, so if you don't like it you can get a refund. But I think you will like it!

  20. Here is a problem to solve. Is it still infringing on copywrite laws if you visually can tell what song is being played based on the position of fingers? Or does it have to also take in account for how the ukulele is tuned 100% exactly? Is there a fine line between what is visually being depicted of the song vs. what its audio? Can you put a copyright restriction on specific chord structure and the transition from one to the next in sequence, just based on visuals alone? Can a good lawyer metaphorically have his way with your behind if he was severely anal in the details?

  21. I'm adding this to my spotify!
    1:34

  22. Tell that to my professor 🙄

  23. Yes! programming is just problem solving…non stop!

  24. If he started playing "Your Reality" on that piano I would've unironically lost mi mind for good.

  25. Don't Spoil me I want to learn how to code so I can make games

  26. If you learn python first, all modern programming languages will look simple. The only reason to consider python simple is that you compare it to even more dinosaur dinosaurs

  27. Don’t like this format.

  28. Maybe, learn Java, it is more complex than python, so you will learn program languages it in depth and properly, but I do recommend Python also.

  29. This is just bullshit. Its good to have a goal but its so far from necesery you cant even see it with binoculars… For the first language its acually objectivly best to learn c++ becuase so many other languages are made from it… That doesnt only make it the fastest but also makes learning other languages easier.

  30. Great video, meaningful advice, entertaining and your Britishness just hits the nail in the head!

  31. Im taking ap csp (advanced placement computer science principals) in 10th grade atm, i enjoy it but i get bored after hours of coding.

  32. Learn your scales, learn to read, learn some theory and then learn whatever song you want.

  33. We will all do whatever we want. You cant tell us what to do.

  34. Jokes on you because I cannot learn to program.

  35. Sweet child of (verboten)

  36. My problem is after programming for years I don’t know what it’s solving to begin with. Sometimes the solutions are problems that we create to solve more solutions.

    problem = ‘solution’
    Print (problem)

  37. I learned to program because I had a real-world problem I needed to solve. And I succeeded. I used Python mainly because I found modules which helped me considerably, otherwise Perl would have been my language of choice because regular expressions are built-in.

  38. Why not? Because I learn it and then brain fog from the covid will make me forget everything. Anyway who put this covid in the code?

  39. This used to say dont learn to program in 2020

  40. "Ohh No…"

    "Anyways-"

  41. 2021 *watching Person of Interest.
