  1. Thansk! Programming seem exciting

  2. Josh I've been watching your videos for quite a while and seen you transition to where you are now. It seems to me (I'm quite sure you explicitly addressed this) that you are no longer interested in programming, and that's totally fine, your content is still great.

I've gotta ask though, is it because programming is just not interesting? I've been learning on and off for quite a while now, but cases like yours really make me wonder if programming is just one of those things that seem really cool from the outside (because of how movies/tv shows portray it) but once you're working on it, it's not so interesting/cool. Did you just view it as a job in the phase in your life in which you did it or did you have some expectations that weren't met? (I'm asking because going from MechE to programming is quite a switch given the years you had to put into your degree). Anyway, great videos (especially the newer ones).

  3. "Are you apply to sit alone and not talk to anyone all day" where do I apply ?

  4. It's basically just being logical, and stuff won't work unless your being logical.. That's all there is to it… Coffee helps..

  5. im starting my programming progress and, by the way, im really happy that i just listened to you and undesrtood every single word. my native language is portuguese br.
i dont know if programming is for me for real but i wanna try it now. maybe thats something that will give me a good future seeing im just 16.

    thank u for the video

  6. Been following you off and on for aboutta year or so now. Going on 26, been in Mech. Engineering field for a 4 years now and I'm thinking of making the switch you made. Super helpful vid. Thanks Josh.

  7. I answered 3 yes, and 2 no's, programming is probaly for me I guess

  8. 4:26AM trying to make a dam calendar app and trying to make it work with good looking UI.

  9. I wish learning code was an option when I was young. I've only touched the surface and love figuring out how it works. Got really irate when on a forum someone condescendingly said to just send him it and he'd re-write it to fix the problem I was having. Took me 2 days to find the one line, then told him it was easy. Wish I had more time to play with it, but I'm 60 and I'll probably never get further than just playing with it.

  10. The right mindset is a very low self-esteem to undergo lack of privacy and disrespect for one's job in most of the companies out there which regard programmers as freaks more a expenditure than an asset.

  11. How do we test if we like problem solving.

I'm also not good at logical puzzles, but that doesn't necessarily mean I don't like them? We tend to like things we're good at and hate the things we suck at.

  12. All of my answers are "maybe" and for "Are you ok with not talking to anyone for hours at work?" Was an immediate "yes" lol

  13. Just. ❤️ Joshua's sexiness.

  14. This guy is just like me

  15. Thank you, this made me understand that programming is not for me.

  16. Very informative. Loved your explanation ❤️

  17. I've never worked at a company that takes deadlines seriously, LOL.
