FYI for everyone building this. Pigman no longer are hostile over title eggs. This farm does NOT work without using commands in 1.17.1

I collected enough magma blocks to do 3 layers. Should I collect enough for the other 2 layers or would I be able to add more layers later on if I actually needed them? Because of fortune working on gold, I don't really need that much, but piglin bartering and golden apples would be nice to have (the piglins I've traded with are sooo stingy for decent items). (Edit- I have the full amount of all the other items so it's just the magma I'm wondering about.)

Thank you for this tutorial! It was a pain in the back to collect all the materials but it was so worth it in the end. I went AFK on it for about 10 minutes and already got 1 and a half stacks of gold!! To anyone scrolling to this comments seeing if this farm is good, I 100% recommend it. 😀

This tutorial has to be one of the best, easiest tutorials to follow. Thank you for slowing down and really explaining things. The fun part will be to build this in Survival Hard mode without the ability to fly around while mobs are spawning while you're trying to build. Fun times ahead.

Does anyone know why these gold farms wont work for me? I made them on a Paper Spigot server, and there is No plugins for mob spawning. I made everything correct

I did this tutorial and when I finished and AFK'ed for an hour or more, I was so amazed to find out I had a total of 30 gold blocks! Great tutorial. Keep up the good work! 🙂

Gathering all the materials was a pain, but once I had them, this farm took about half an hour to assemble. I would recommend frostwalker or fire resistance, to help with walking on magma blocks in survival
