  23. Well, I do not particularly prefer to use every time new trends. It is better to use old trends, because it will be done much better. One year ago I needed my own blog for my company and I found good (web development) https://directlinedev.com/web-development/ team that help me to do that. I've learned a lot about web development but if you wanna do this good, better to use some outsource company.

  24. İts looks more complicated than …Nice video !thanks

  25. Serverless architecture is the future!!! I cannot wait to see what it brings for the rest of 2020!

  26. Data Science
    Cloud computing
    Streaming

  27. For cross-platform mobile development, Flutter / Dart seems to have picked up a lot of momentum in the last year, and their web platform is in beta as well. Flutter has got 88K Github stars (Vue.js, for example, has 160K), which is really rapid growth,.

I have been looking at Quasar for our next cross platform tool, but it doesn't seem to have the growth that Flutter has picked up.

  28. As always with hyped things, it's also important to know their shortcomings.

    Microservices:
    – It becomes a whole new challenge to orchestrate them: When I deploy A, do I also need to deploy B? Do you start versioning your APIs? This brings complexity compared to a monolith.
    – Specifically you mentioned using separate databases: This also comes with a huge cost, namely that you cannot leverage the power of SQL to query data or do things like cascade delete and also the communicating between databases will be slower than just having one database because it runs through the network.

    Serverless:

    – Having no servers available all the time brings problems like the cold start problem: When one person signs up for your newsletter every hour, and your function needs to boot up everytime to send the email, your users will always see a loading spinner for a couple of seconds before the email is sent.

Not saying there are no solutions to those problems, just saying that you shouldn't just blindly adopt those technologies for all those who were watching this video 🙂

  29. If this is a list of must-know or learn topics this year, then add TypeScript. But if it's more about emerging technologies that are not heavily used, then remove the big 3 frameworks.

  30. He talks so slow, You can watch this in x1.5
