  1. lemme clear that you are crush fr

  2. 5 months in my junior year and I wish I would have found this earlier. It's such a pain to shift from Biology to math 😭😭✋🏽

  3. Damn i suck at my math

  4. Hey I just wanted to know what kind of software engineer is the best

  5. What is your qualification ?

  6. Doesn't matter whether you are good at math or not , but one needs to be good at copy pasting to be a software engineer .

  7. I started writing code in the early 80's and retried a year and a half ago. In my 30+ years as a developer I never really needed to know more than simple arithmetic. Of course, you are correct in that different software development jobs have different focus areas, and some focus areas need a lot of math, while others do not. I spent most of my time building servers for big corporations, first in C++, and then in Java. I also spent many years with a security and privacy focus. Now in retirement I am focusing on iOS. So for me, I never really needed any math. I agree that what you need is very strong logical thinking skills. When I used to interview people for development jobs I would always focus on logical thinking, not what lines of code someone could pull out of their memory. I met so many developers in my years who had fancy degrees and could talk endlessly about every detail of a language or platform, but the code they wrote was garbage. You can get code syntax and framework function online or out of a book, but logical thinking skills you either have, or you do not; that is what makes a great developer… IMHO

  8. If you've struggled in high school math, I'd say 99% of the time, you'll struggle with programming. They both use logical reasoning.

  9. Simple, good quality software engineer must be inteligent mean strong in mathematics.

  10. i can see the joma's vibe in here love this video keep it up!!!!

  11. It takes only 3 bytes to define a point or pixel in a 3D grid, the only thing is you can reduce the storage for a bigger design with math formulas.

  12. I am just a student at high school trying to learn more about my future career ( Computer programmer). Thank you so much for the video! (* whisper, I suck at math btw lol*).

  13. I see all these millennial amateurs do the same videos. “Is maths needed”, “what is the best programming language” “how to prepare for an interview” Is there no original content to be made? Create some projects and talk about those so you so applied learning.

  14. She sounds exactly like Gillian Jacobs (Britta from Community)

  15. Man, that face, just amazing, it's ineffable.

How did you manage to have such a face, share me your beauty pills.

  16. so it is not always important, but logical reasoning is, so it is ALWAYS IMPORTANT !! it seems SOMEBODY DOESNT THINK LOGICALLY !!

  17. I actually have a question I'm actually in highschool and we are suppose to choose the following streams that are the science stream and business stream which one should I choose in order to be a software engineer I'am a grade 9 student and i need help please reply☹☹

  18. Hi there! I am frontend-developer, i don't need mathematics, but the logical thing is very very important

  19. I mean if you use a good game engine you shouldn't have to do a lot of your own math for physics in game creation.

  20. I've never been great at math and I've held down a job fairly well as a dev. For me it has been mostly being able to reason through the code. It really depends on what you are building though.

  21. Lol no. You do have to decent in discrete maths but not typical maths you learn in school which is basically logic and problems rather than typical equations. Shortest path algorithms and stuff is the most important thing but… Topics such as algorithm analysis and big O notation has tons of maths.

  22. Me: perfect woman doesn’t exi….

    Youtube: recommend this channel

  23. Idk…I'm just saying it…
The number of views she got for this and the number of sub's she is having , apparently, is with with a difference of 10…and both are palindrome…. The video was three years ago…and three is the starting and ending digit for sub's and views….

  24. What company do u think pays the most high salary

  25. In the very early '80s, computers were really up and coming. I considered getting involved but I have often had trouble in math.
I could work out formulas really easily but the actual calculations always tripped me up.
I soon realized that I could have the computer actually do the math, all I had to do was make sure it was doing it correctly and I had no problem with that.

  26. Mayuko, How do you think about linguistics&CS major?

  27. Mam I am interested in learning coding and programming but I am poor in maths my doubt is that is coding and programming totally depends on the maths without maths can't we learn them
