I now own 2 bikes from Vitus a hard tail and the escarpe. They are truly legit. I have no reason to look at any other brand of bike. The cost is right with great spec. Oh and they ride as well as they look. Well done Vitus!
BMX Pete
How much compensation were you all given for this Vitus Commercial and how do you get around including a paid promotion?
Cheef
My 2018 Sentier VR+ was the best hard tail i've ever owned (until it was stolen). Never got into the bike vault despite me trying. Oh hi GMBN!

Satisfaction for an engineer is see his creation in action. I can say for my self that it gives me a huge satisfaction to the cotton gins I have engineered work as planned and produce as the customer expected.

Great video Doddy, keep up the good work. Love the show! 🤙

Love my Escarpe CRX, it's some bike. Hats off to Vitus.

Now I want a vitus
John Wick
I have had a Vitus Escarpe 275 and I think it was very good bike for the money I have paid. Also it was very reliable bike as I didn't have any problems with it for 5 years of riding. I ride other brand now and I can compare the bikes. It's a very big chance that my next bike will be Vitus again.

My ancestors are irish. 50% of them anyway. Dont tell them I clicked CC..

Doddy. 6000$ Canadian. Umm. Nope! Lol

I see different brand names from this frame design. Looks good & I'll wait for its intricate review.

No way, I want a Vitus Nucleus for my next bike, and GMBN does a video on Vitus bikes!

I met Enrique a few months ago in Tollymore. We did Heathen and Champs I think. I Had no idea he worked for Vitus. What a nice guy. The whole team are clearly enthusiasts which is a fantastic accolade. Vitus are a class brand. Almost a David against the Goliaths in its industry. Well done and super proud these guys are flying the flag for Northern Ireland.

Vitus are definitely on my radar for my next bike

I bought my Nucleus VRS in 2018 and although I’ve upgraded a lot of it, much of the core components is the same. It has lasted really well and I’ve gotten 4000km on it. A friend bought a 2021 VRS based on my experience, and it came with generic parts. The crank arm splines sheared and the crank arm fell off on his first ride on XC trails. He paid nearly £150 more for lower quality. I’m concerned that Vitus have been cutting corners on the lower-end, and the crank arm shearing off on a trail is incredibly dangerous. Imagine if we were doing something more than light riding and it happened.

Great video and story of a awesome bike brand. I have a vitus sommet vrs 160mm and it gets hammered on bike park, enduro and down hill trails it's at home no matter what trail I shred it on. Great bike and I would defo but another . Well done vitus 🙌 🤘

Great video and a fantastic insight in to vitus thanks doddy and GMBN. I hope them fails are going on the dirt shed show 😂
Marcus
Love brands like this sticking it to the scam artists of the industry

I think that Brexit has had affected the prices o Vitus, now a Rapid FS is E3399… that is way to much, you get a Canoyn LUX Trail CF6 for less and better specs…
Jonathan Ince
Having picked up a Vitus last year having just getting back into Mountain Biking this video is a great insight into how good Vitus really are, I think I'll be getting another Vitus when I upgrade my current Nucleus!
Tim Sadler
Solid BTS video of the brand, no fuss, no frills mountain bikes for the people. However there are still some questions to be raised over direct-to-consumer brands and their ultimate effect on the local bike shop. Personally I like the model where you buy from a brand and then use local shops to service and sell spares etc… however this is taking a significant stream of revenue away from shops (and margin, hence the difference in price)..and then there is the 'try before you buy' logic. Granted, some brands, like YT, have set up shops and run events to get people on the right size… but there is a risk that people will buy without the correct advice they would get from a good LBS. Something to think about…

I wish they were making XC bikes, I'd buy one on the spot

10:15 whoa looks like that guy had one heck of a testing session – check out the scar on his forearm and elbow!
Edit – maybe that's what happened at 14:51 ???
Wow, these guys are relatable, they crash just like me 😀

When i was looking to retire my old trek 4300 i was after a trail hardatail . My list consisted of the Nukeproof scout, Vitus Sentier, Canyon stoic, marin san quentin and a few more. The Vitus soon hit the top of the list as it offered far better component at a given price point . Ordered mt Sentier 27vr in January just before the price increase. Love the bike had no issues and no need to upgrade any parts as yet. Fantastic bike for the price.
Josh Mick
Makes me want one of their bikes even more now!!
RoHa
Awesome behind the scenes, too bad that they don't use Sram brakes or drivetrain components in any of their mountainbikes.

I have 2 Vitus, a sommet and a Dominer. The bikes were such a good value for money but since the Brexit, the price for EU customer increased a lot. So, Belfast is so close to the Ireland border, why not setting an operation site from here to serve the EU customers and avoiding the tariff between UK and EU?
Richard Watson
So. Ugh love for Vitus. They ain’t ripping us off. Can’t wait to buy a sommet
