  1. But the sad thing is companies want us to have full stack knowledge even while applying as a frontend developer.

  2. After working in the Web Dev industry for the past 6 years I know where I am now and what I’ve been doing so far. I 100% agree with the video author. So many bootcamps are offering misleading programming languages and promising that you will land a job.. etc. Yes you might get a job but then your nightmare will start as you will find out on your first couple of days how much you don’t know. You cannot learn programming in 3months, it’s not possible. Our brain is receiving limitted information which needs to be proceeded and understood. Receiving too much info at the short time is not possible and will do more damage then good.

  3. I don't have words to describe gratitude sir ,, i am 23 yr old lost student from india.
Started learning web development since 3 months.. i wanted to be full stack. But after analysing i scared due to many languages as my background is non programming..
From now i would be a frontend developer.and migrate towards backed as you have said. I hope it will help me to get out of my miserable situation
Thanks a lot sir thank you very much someone from india 🙂

  4. Illuminati confirmed.

  5. Fuck! I wish I saw this vid at the beginning of my journey.

  6. Damn this is the best advice I've heard in the past programming learning experience and I will share my own story.

I got my job as a product role 1+ yr ago with little programming background and most of my work is about improving a product, e.g. UX, functionality, and so on. The more I dig in to my work and try to excel, the more I get confused how things even work and I try watching bootcamps (there are some really good vids), I finally get the concepts clear but I got more confused because I just cant visualise everything holistically! Yes, VISUALISE! And thank you Devslopes again for your gold advice. Now I know what to do next.

  7. Full-Stack Developer = Jack of all trades, master of none.

  8. Well thats right on

  9. I'd rather spend another 2 years studying than having to spend my time staring at CSS while trying to learn backend

  10. I can confidently say, w/over 8 years as a Dev, everything this man said is true. 🙌🏼💯

  11. Hey Sir how to start with front end developer.

  12. Man, this is exactly what i'm thinking and some people are trying to sell me the idea of mastering front & back-end before looking for a job! You just made me feel confident about my desicion which is getting a front-end job first. Wish me luck, i'm still studying 😀

  13. You need to learn front end first to learn backend ? Really bad advice. So many bad advices in this video.

  14. Omg what a cool advice

  15. I wish I saw this 7 months ago. I burnt my self out and quit for most of 2020

  16. What is the best way to contact you about a product endorsement?

  17. Yo this information really changed my life… Am just starting out thinking how I was going to get all these full stack knowledge as a newbie without getting my brains knocked out… Thanks for setting my mind at ease.. Pheww

  18. Wow, this is only the second video I watch on this channel, and I am getting the vibe that they are brutally honest. This is very solid, honest and truthful advice.

  19. Wtf you don't want people to learn programming at all?

  20. You should become a first queue developer. You get to work with fifo instead of lifo.

  21. This was really good advice!

  22. So glad that I found this video

  23. I sort of disagree with the justification here. You’re right that in an ideal world, you’d be hired as either a front or backend developer specifically, but a lot of modern job postings for “junior front end developer” also include responsibilities of backend. I’d say (as a beginner) learn both anyways, with a focus on front end, and have at least enough knowledge of backend to put certain keywords on your resume. I get that companies put extra responsibilities in their job listings in order to cast a “weed out net” but they also think nothing of throwing away resumés that don’t have the right keywords

  24. This guy just save millions of wasted lives.

  25. Thanks for this information.
I am new start up so I want to start to learn frontend development .

  26. Great advice! Coincides w/ my experience and observations exactly!

  27. They just don't hire🤣
