  1. they come in high tech space ships but cutting rock and trees with stone caveman tools…. you kidding me???
and it looks good but i will predict how this game will go.

like any other of these types of games, they have much prettier over the years, but the same basic horrible game mechanics!,
cant you devs figure out a whole new way of doing things??, or perhaps make a brand new genre of game???
this is just a mining and grinding, tree chopping, mouse clicking, running simulator on a endless loop!. like 13 in a dozen on steam.

  2. "Founder of DayZ Dean Hall…"
    (Clicks off video.)

  3. Looks interesting. When it comes to survival games, you could play ten that all look the same but it's the very subtle differences that make them either great, just ok, or another case of buyer's remorse. And of course there's no accounting for personal taste.

For the price, I'll probably give it a shot.

  4. sounds and looks great! Like the various concepts and the fact there's a timer. will allow for interesting gameplay. also sounds like it would be expanded upon in the future. maybe extended timers? or remove them if you have an ability/building

  5. The big highlight of this video is when that guy did not hesitate to kill Bambi.

  6. There is a big inconsistency here. They are looking for stuff to sell in the interstellar space but they use primitive tools ? Isn't this kind of wack ?

  7. The game doesn`t even have loot pickup after you die ! Maybe after release it will be playable but NOT now !

  8. Looks like a game that should be about automation. Instead the dev's gonna make us manually mine everything in a space age.

  9. The dude who created day z made this? Can we expect him to leave this game unfinished too?

  10. 3:20 stupid I…T, everyone knows that deers may not be hunted when they have offspring. Not to mention the cruelty in murdering the little one.

  11. Needs some optimization, with a 2080ti, ultrawide, epic settings, quality DLSS I have the worst FPS.

  12. Dean Hall. Not spending another cent with that bloke.

  13. Back to scamming people I see lol, he did it to y'all once He'll Do It Again.

  14. I would get this just for the high quality dynamic weather.

  15. Imagine if NASA sent people into space to extract exotic minerals and objects but told them they couldn't take anything with them on the journey.
There should be at least a small supply/tool locker inside your craft with some starter tooling (maybe softer cheaper metals) until you can craft harder more durable ones. Crafting stone tools , shooting primitive weapons doesn't make the game feel like its own thing it feels like all other survival games.

On a positive, the graphics do look nice.

  16. The game looks pretty but 16GB of RAM is the minimum requirement?
Doesn't this shut out a lot of potential players?
Also on Steam there are a lot of people saying this game has heavy memory leaks.

  17. If you can't remove your helmet because of the toxic air how are you able to eat food and drink water through your helmet?

  18. DO NOT TRUST DEAN HALL. HE IS A SCAMMER.

  19. A game by Dean Hall? Yeah, no thanks…

  20. YOU KILLED THE BABY DEEER!!!!!!!!! :((

  21. the mission aspect and limited time just killed the game for me else id 100% be getting it

  22. This explained nothing. How long do you have before you have to go back? Will progress be persistent, or are you starting over each run?

  23. Agree. Procedurally generated maps are repetitive and boring.

  24. I remember when Dean Hall made every face in DayZ of players his own face, says what you need to know about this guy.

  25. seems like just another open world survival crafting games. how is this one any different? because there is a baby deer following his mother? An Alien planet? that just looks like any other forest in north america

  26. Should just be a 1600-1700 ad settlers style game. The space thing seem like a week point

  27. Gonna bail on this one too, Dean? GTFO

  28. Gibt es einen Gamechat zum kommunizieren mit Freunden?

  29. Wait… Why is everyone acting like Dean Hall personally "abandoned" Day Z? That's not what happened and I know some of you know that. The rest of you are just making an intellectually dishonest and lazy refusal to find the actual story of what happened. It's an incorrect "factoid" (i.e. an untrue statement that's repeated so often people believe it to be reality,) which is directly harmful to a good developer.

Dean Hall was hired by Bohemia Interactive to work on Day Z for 2 years after he agreed to Kickstart the project, after which he would leave. That was the deal all along. After he left, Bohemia didn't ask him back and he was working on his own studio anyway. In fact, Dean Hall stayed with Bohemia on Day Z for quite a bit longer than the 2 years the agreement specified. Bohemia was to blame for Day Z's problematic developmemt timeline, not Hall. Get it right.

Ion never released, so it doesn't matter whether Hall finished it or not, and Stationeers, on the other hand, is still in development but had like 100 hours of content after just one month in early access, which is really good. Its all-time rating on Steam says 84% (of ~3400) total reviews rate it Very Positive, and 83% (of 54) recent reviews rate it the same.

  30. I like dayZ I know I'm not going to like this. It's just not quite right. The mission system and the way this works just isn't something I want to play. I own Ark, I own a hundred other survival games. We wanted DayZ to work not this.

  31. Unsubbed from PCGamer, giving a platform for the games industry's worst scammer

  32. Yeah, this games going to be a total fucking failure ! what a joke

  33. And another one… for the trash

  34. when will the fully release it lol july changed to august then to september kinda sad when you say its only minor corrections needed

  35. maps that are not random already gonna be a dead game within some days.. that sucks. this game has potential asf :/

  36. Hall already owes me 20 quid for Day Z. I'll skip this.

  37. The framerate seems God awful

  38. Looks clunky… Dont worry, i wont forget when Dean F'd over dayz and sold out and 10 years later its still garbage. Expecting another half done game. Hand crafted map = the same for every replay….

  39. Exotics and special materials – copper, iron, platinum, gold, sulphur. Am I missing something here? Its an alien planet FFS, give me radom alien minerals, fauna and animals.
